Apple Prepares a Replacement Flash?

Apple discomfort with Adobe will be hotter. Apple reportedly is preparing a Flash replacement technology.

As quoted from CNet, Tuesday (11/05/2010), Apple is reportedly being actively developed a technology called Gianduia.

Unlike Flash, Gianduia will be based on standards. Gianduia, was first introduced in World of WebObjects Developer Conference, is a standards-based framework to generate Internet applications.

Reportedly, Apple has used this technology for several applications supporting retail. This includes the reservation service iPhone, the Genius Bar and Personal Shopping.

Gianduia name refers to the type of cocoa beans from Italy. This name was selected because it deals with Cocoa, a technology used in the Apple Mac OS X.
